Let’s check in? Prioritizing Self-Care For The Second Half Of The Year

Hey guys!

How’s the summer treating you so far? Can you believe it’s already July? I’m finding myself having more and more conversations around how quickly the year seems to be moving.  Having said that, it encouraged me to take a step back and reflect on the last 6 months and we have been BUSY. Did you know that July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month?

As much as we love embracing our blessings, tending to our relationship, and building our businesses, we realize the importance of loving on ourselves as individual as well.  Not sure if you can relate but for me, for some reason, me time seems to be put on the back burner whenever it’s not prioritized.

So! I put together a list of a few tips we use personally to honor our commitment of consistent self-love.

Self-love is essential all year-round. Here are some ways to prioritize self-love for the rest of the year:

Mind

Set aside time each day for meditation or mindfulness practices.

Practice positive affirmations and self-talk.

Take breaks when necessary to prevent burnout.

Practice gratitude.

Body

Incorporate daily exercise or physical activity that you enjoy.

Get enough sleep each night.

Fuel your body with healthy, nourishing foods.

Pamper yourself with a relaxing bath or massage.

Soul

Pursue hobbies or creative outlets that make you happy.

Connect with friends or family members who lift you up.

Spend time in nature or engage in other activities that bring you peace.

Consider therapy or counseling if you need extra support.

Remember to be kind to yourself and prioritize your well-being. You deserve it!
